Power Module Not Working

I am having an issue getting a power source to the Rover. I have connected the power module to the power source/battery, power module to the brush x60, brush x60 to pixhawk row 3, power module to the pixhawk power pin, and power module to the GPIO board of the Raspberry Pi 3 Model B.

Additional Troubleshooting Steps Include:

  • Undo and Redo wires from power module to all parts (no success)
  • Try with a different 12V battery from another rover kit (no success)
  • Provided normal house power to Pi USB-C port and then micro usb from pixhawk to usb on Pi. This powered on the pixhawk, PI, FPV Radio Telemetry, Camera. However, as expected, I doubt the ESC was powered because the ESC On/Off toggle seemed to have no impact
  • Attempted to charge/balance the battery, which seemed to work. Maybe there is a way to easily test if my problem stems from the battery.

Is it possible I have a bad power module? I am seen pixhawk power modules on the market but none include all the parts from this kit.

Hey there!

Hmm, is the brushed ESC lighting up at all when you power it with the battery?

It could be either the brushed ESC or the custom UBEC with the Pi connector.

Can you send me your email and shipping address to info@dojofordrones.com?

We’ll ship you out both a new brushed ESC and a new power module that are confirmed to work.
