Installing precision delivery ardupilot pkg on Jetson TX2

#1

I am using Jetson Tx2 with Ubuntu 18, gazebo 9 and ROS melodic. I recently bought the precision landing and delivery course.

The installation of the ardupilot package worked well and I was able to compile it as well. But after I added the path of “resource” and “model” in the bashrc and removed the same from setup.bash file, my gazebo stopped functioning and after that every time I’d try to open the gazebo using its simple command “gazebo” or launch the iris copter in the runway world, it tends to give error as mentioned below

I did the changes accordingly and did not get the gazebo environment working. In fact, my environment of empty world has stopped loading with the error stated in the picture. Please let me know how to solve it, as this is a very urgent project.

After modifying .bashrc and prior to removing the paths from setup.sh, did you run “source /usr/share/gazebo-9/setup.sh” ?
