Hello fellow drone enginerds!

Hi there,

My name is Gabrielle, and I picked out a kit from here to start learning how to build drones using industry-related skills and tools. I’ve flown some consumer-grade drones, some tinywhoops, and DJI drones. I’ve also built one or two drones based on Arduino and ESP32 microcontrollers. But I want to start building racing drones and cinewhoops. Even more than that, I’d like to be able to take these skills to a level where I can actually do this professionally - flying and/or building. I like the mix of hardware and software skills required to continue growing in this field. I’m grateful for Drone Dojo for giving a clear next step. Catch y’all around!

I’m not into fpv, but I’ve played around with fpv sims hosted on steam with window 11. I used my transmitter connected to the PC. There is also a discord on some where the folks are quite helpful. You can use training mode to advance through levels of difficulty. Then you can start getting into community races.

Also check out Andy Piper on YouTube for fpv drone builds.

Asde from that I recommend buying a dojo kit and taking several courses to get comfortable with the building and coding.
