What are the washers that come with the propellers for?

Are the washers that come with the propellers supposed to be installed on the motors? I didn’t see anything in the videos about them.

Are you referring to the spacers?

A simple search finds https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NzdE99yZj6Y.

I swear I looked and I found five videos and none of them mentioned the washers.
