Simonk 30A issue

I bought some new simonk 30A esc. However, they slightly differ from the ones you get with the course.
Here is the ones I got:

This differs from the one provided by this course which has the label “NIMH:5-12S LIPO:2-4S” on the esc instead.

The one provided by the course works (motors give a beep when powered on), while the ones I got do not work (no sound). Can someone explain why since they seem to look that they should be identical? Also where can I go to buy the ones provided by the course, I am having difficulty finding them online (while the ones I bought are the first thing to come up when looking for “simonk 30A”)?

The ones you purchased are fine.
Just need to calibrate them and you should be good to go.
