Servos on the drone

Caleb,
I noticed in one of the videos that you had a servo on the drone. A couple questions:

  1. What do you use the servo(s) for?
  2. How do you operate them?
  3. Do you have recommendations for make or specs that are suitable for this drone build?

  1. For taco delivery! … servos can be used to provide a mechanical turning motion, such as to drop stuff.
  2. Once connected to the flight controller, a transmitter switch can be assigned using Mission Planner.
