Hi! I’m looking to run a drone with an onboard RPi and OpenCV on it, to do live target following, with control from laptop as a fallback.
What hardware should I use to maintain the connection to the drone with a better reach than RPi’s onboard wifi?
- With enough bandwidth to maintain a remote desktop onto the RPi
- With just enough bandwidth for MAVLink commands, to eg be able to tell the drone to come back if the other connection is lost?
Ideally with aliexpress links, but at least the types and brands of hardware would be very welcome.
